Rockin’ It Village Style is a sober, family-friendly, and LGBTQ+ welcoming community rock dance and fundraiser hosted by Raven Moonlight during AFN week in Anchorage.
Held on the final night of AFN, the event is intended to bring people together one more time before the week comes to a close — celebrating culture, community, music, food, healing, inclusion, and connection.
The evening will also raise funds to support a future traditional healing event and Raven Moonlight’s broader mission focused on promoting cultural healing, community wellness, inclusion, and connection.
Guests are encouraged to come as they are, wear their mocs if they’d like, bring a dish to share, and enjoy an evening of music, dancing, food, and community. Everyone is welcome, and the event is intended to be a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for Alaska Native people, families, LGBTQ+ community members, allies, and anyone who wants to gather in the spirit of culture, sobriety, healing, and connection.
Raven Moonlight is also accepting donations for the event’s silent auction. Individuals, artists, businesses, and community organizations interested in contributing an item, service, gift certificate, artwork, or other donation are encouraged to reach out.
Tickets are $10, children under 12 are free, and families are welcome.
